Puerto Rico is known as the "Surfing Capital of the Atlantic".
The island offers excellent conditions for surfing, bodyboarding and
sailboarding, year-round
(BEST IN FEBRUARY).
There are numerous surfing beaches all around the island. From Punta Tuna-Maunabo on the southeast corner of the island
north to Fajardo, all along the North and West Coast down to Rincon
and Mayaguez, surfers from all over the world take the
challenge. Many of the beaches have
DANGEROUS CURRENTS
so, talk to the locals before venturing out into unknown waters. Then just hangout
and chill.............
